Job Description:
Coulter Elite Resourcing is seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. We offer flexible working arrangements, including part-time, full-time, and full-time positions with travel. The ideal candidate will be passionate about engineering, have a keen eye for detail, and possess strong problem-solving skills. While prior experience with sewage/effluent systems is not essential, candidates must be aware that the role involves handling wastewater equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and maintain mechanical systems and components.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with other systems.
- Analyse project requirements and maintain equipment.
- Oversee the installation, operation, maintenance, and repair of equipment, including wastewater systems.
- Ensure that all mechanical systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Manage and maintain equipment including wastewater systems..
- Participate in on-site inspections and travel to various project locations as required.
Person Specification:
- Proven experience in mechanical engineering.
- Strong understanding of materials science, and manufacturing processes including wastewater systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills to liaise with team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability to various work environments and flexibility in managing multiple tasks.
- Willingness to travel for assignments as needed.
- Awareness that the role involves handling wastewater equipment.
