Role: Performance Engineer
Experience: 2+ years
Location: Peterborough (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
Contract: 12 months
Start Date: ASAP
Responsibilities:
- Support engine performance development and validation.
- Implement new technologies (automation, robotics, CAD software) to improve processes.
- Enhance engineering procedures to optimize reliability and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop design solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science (required).
- Engineering design & development - Ability to create, implement, and improve designs.
- Engine performance & calibration - Experience in performance validation and optimization.
- Process improvement & automation - Knowledge of automation, robotics, and CAD tools.
- Product testing & validation - Understanding of defect tracking and quality assurance.
- Troubleshooting & problem-solving - Ability to detect and resolve technical issues.
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - Experience in designing and implementing SOPs.
