Working within an established engineering team you will undertake a range of mechanical and electrical tasks relating to the repair, maintenance and build projects for their fleet of vehicles and equipment

What's involved for the Workshop Mechanic…

  • Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles
  • Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
  • Bodybuilding work with welding where appropriate
  • Go to customer site visits as and when required
  • Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles
  • Fault find and diagnose electrical issues

What you'll need…

  • Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery or automotive engineering background
  • MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience
  • Hydraulic experience ideal
  • Welding skills advantageous
  • Ability to interpret technical information
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
