In a nutshell…Our client is a global leader of manufacturing bespoke and intelligent solutions for vehicles. Their products are sold all over the world with a huge presence in the UK.
Working within an established engineering team you will undertake a range of mechanical and electrical tasks relating to the repair, maintenance and build projects for their fleet of vehicles and equipment
What's involved for the Workshop Mechanic…
- Carry out maintenance and repair on a wide range of commercial vehicles
- Carry out refurbishments and accident damage repair work
- Bodybuilding work with welding where appropriate
- Go to customer site visits as and when required
- Deal with all mechanical and electrical work on vehicles
- Fault find and diagnose electrical issues
What you'll need…
- Commercial vehicle, HGV, LGV, Agricultural, FLT, heavy plant machinery or automotive engineering background
- MUST have mechanical and electrical vehicle experience
- Hydraulic experience ideal
- Welding skills advantageous
- Ability to interpret technical information
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate at all levels
- Good written and verbal communication skills

This is a Full time, permanent Workshop Mechanicrole, working Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 4pm (flexible).
