Production Maintenance Engineer

Taskmaster are currently looking to recruit a Production Maintenance Engineer to join the expanding team of our well established client based in Baston.


The Production Maintenance Engineer will be responsible to organise and complete both planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth running of production with minimal disruption.


Skills:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer or Similar role.

Knowledge and experience of Lean Manufacturing.

Strong Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.

Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.

Self-motivated individual with an enthusiastic attitude.

Excellent problem solving skills.

Experience with PLC systems desirable.

An understanding of Health & Safety Procedures.


Responsibilities:

Plan, conduct and keep accurate records of routine maintenance across the production department of all machinery and equipment.

Work with the Production Manager to organise and complete preventative maintenance tasks across the department with minimal disruption to Production.

Work with the QSHE Director to ensure all machinery and equipment within the Department is available for regular inspection in the timeframe as per regulations i.e PUWER and LOLER.

Maintain sufficient stock levels of engineering consumables, conducting regular stocktakes and replenishment orders.

Coordinate with external contractors for any specialised repairs and maintenance to be completed within the timeframe set.

Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues.


Temp to perm position for the right candidate.


Pay rate: £17.79PH (£37,000PA)

Hours: Mon-Fri: 40 hours
