A fantastic opportunity is available for a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) or Bodyshop Estimator with a background in bodyshop or accident repair.
The role requires an experienced candidate, ideally with at least 2 years in the car trade related to repair or bodywork.
The position offers a salary of £30,000 per year and involves inspecting damaged vehicles, assessing repair costs, and preparing estimates.
This is a permanent, full-time role with working hours of 42.5 hours per week, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Candidates will work in a team of over 10 appraisal staff, with all in-house work and no insurance companies or customers to deal with.

This job role is a VDA / Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator position and ideally requires an experienced candidate. All cars are under 5 years and no medium to large accident damage.

Job Details:

VDA / Estimator / Vehicle Damage Assessor

·To inspect damaged vehicles and assess the full extent of the damage sustained, assess the cost of repair and time scales

·To identify the correct prescribed repair method

·To prepare computerised and manual estimates and to accurately record these, maintaining up-to-date records of all estimates

·To communicate effectively with technicians to ensure understanding of correct vehicle repair methodology

Hours 42.5 a week - Permanent Job.

Monday-Friday 7.00am-4.30 pm
