The company:

You will be joining a well-known manufacturing company with a great presence within the automotive and large truck industry. Due to continued and new business opportunities, the company are now looking for multiple Mechanical Fitters to join their manufacturing team in Peterborough.

Job responsibilities:

  • Use of a wide range of precision tools and equipment
  • Fitting of large and small components
  • Welding
  • Work on engineering drawings and specifications to complete the task
  • Small assembly tasks

This is just a summed-up list, and other responsibilities and tasks will be required.

Skills and Experience required:

  • Experience within a similar manufacturing role
  • Experienced using a wide range of tools and equipment
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Welding experience is desirable
  • Health and safety knowledge
