We are currently seeking a Band 7 Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist to join a dynamic and supportive team based in Peterborough. The role is community-based and offers flexibility in working hours to suit your needs, with full-time or part-time opportunities available
Location: Peterborough, Community-Based
Position: Full-time (Part-time options available)
Pay: £28-30 per hour (dependent on experience)
Hours: Flexible between 08:00 – 18:00
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Management:
- Manage a mixed caseload of musculoskeletal outpatients referred through self-referral, primary care, First Contact Physiotherapists, and hospitals.
- Perform comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and create individualised treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based interventions and support for patients with musculoskeletal conditions.
- Clinical Skills & Patient Care:
- Deliver high-quality physiotherapy care to ensure positive patient outcomes.
- Utilize advanced clinical reasoning skills to develop effective rehabilitation strategies.
- Educate patients on managing their conditions and improving their musculoskeletal health.
- Multidisciplinary Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including GPs, consultants, and other physiotherapists, to ensure seamless care.
- Contribute to team discussions and share knowledge to enhance the service provided.
- Documentation and Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in line with legal and professional standards.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Proven experience as a physiotherapist with a focus on musculoskeletal conditions.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and provide both hands-on treatment and education to patients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to work autonomously, prioritizing workload and managing time effectively.
- Experience in community-based physiotherapy services is desirable.
