Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with complex needs? We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Primary School Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Peterborough.

In this full-time role, you will provide essential support to pupils with cognition and interaction-based needs, particularly those on the autism spectrum. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting children with complex needs in their daily activities and learning.
  • Assisting with personal care, including changing pads for pupils.
  • Encouraging independence and promoting positive interactions within the classroom.
  • Collaborating with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive learning environment.
  • Taking initiative and being hands-on from day one to ensure the best outcomes for our students.

The ideal candidate will be compassionate, adaptable, and willing to engage fully with the children. Experience working with children with special educational needs is desirable but not essential. What matters most is your commitment to supporting our pupils and your ability to take initiative.
