Techniche Global are supporting a large marine manufacturer based in Oundle, to appoint a Quality AuditorTo inspect stage gates of the Quality Process and Final quality inspection and dispatch sign off on finished boats within the company procedures and manufacturing standards, to meet the operational requirements of the business.The Quality Auditor must have a flexible approach in working hours / overtime this will include weekend and out of hours working supporting the On Water Test.Key responsibilities:
  • Liaise with Production Team Leaders & production leads to assess forthcoming boat completions and prepare for quality inspections & dispatch handover workloads.
  • Inspect stage gates at each footprint and ensure correct paperwork is signed.
  • Support EOL inspections.
  • Support and Audit In Line & On Water test.
  • Dynamic Test All Boats.
  • Check all upholstery for Fit form and function.
  • Prepare & maintain the relevant computer / paper records ready to pass to the commissioning team to complete.
  • Carry out loose items & specification checks before vessels transport to commissioning centre.
  • Understand and apply the appropriate standards, EVIS, IVIS, Manufacturing standards references to any found issues.
  • Have a good understanding of the companies Quality Severity Scoring system to the faults to CFPA (Customer Focused Product Audit).
  • Support the Ipswich Commissioning team as needed to carry out pre delivery inspections & Re-works.
  • Understand the manufacturing Standards for each footprint.
  • Must be computer literate to work with Word and Excel.
  • Comply at all times with the letter and spirit of the Company’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policy, Equality Policy and Code of Conduct.
  • carry out any other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by the jobholder’s line manager
