Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Operations Coordinator to join their Peterborough office. In this role, you'll be responsible for efficiently scheduling and planning engineering work to ensure timely service delivery to customers.

This position is ideal for someone with a keen eye for detail, a proactive mindset, and a focus on effective communication both internally and externally to achieve the goal of customer satisfaction through teamwork.

About Our Client

Key Responsibilities
  • Efficiently schedule engineers for reactive and servicing tasks across customer contracts, following established booking processes and using job management systems.
  • Ensure the successful completion of allocated jobs and close out the scheduling process.
  • Escalate any scheduling issues to the Team Leader for resolution, in coordination with the Contract Manager or customer.
  • Support the contract with various administrative tasks, including billing, generating Work in Progress (WIP) reports, and ensuring accurate records and status updates in the job management system.
Key Skills and Attributes
  • Strong understanding of planning systems, with the ability to optimize engineer schedules based on geographical considerations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as engineers will rely on you for important day-to-day information.
  • Strong organizational abilities, capable of multitasking while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
