Project Manager
Peterborough (5days on site) 12-Month Contract
Join a dynamic team managing a diverse portfolio of over 50 projects in a fast-paced environment. Deliver programs on-time, within budget, and to quality standards by enhancing project team effectiveness through established project management methods and tools. Provide leadership and expertise in program and project management processes.
Job Duties:
- Lead planning meetings for smaller projects with minimal supervision.
- Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project and manage schedule conflicts.
- Coordinate program control meetings and assist in resolving schedule issues.
- Maintain logs for issues, risks, and scope changes, and assist in workshop planning.
- Advocate for robust planning practices and provide administrative support for meetings.
- Train project teams in management processes and software.
Background Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience in Program Coordination, IT, Engineering, or project management.
- Proven project management experience, including scheduling and on-time delivery.
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office tools.
- Experience in resource and cost management
- A recognized Project Management qualification such as Prince 2, PMP, or equivalent.
- Previous Six Sigma experience.
