Are you an experienced and proactive property management professional with a passion for delivering outstanding service? We're looking for a Senior Block Manager to join our dynamic team in Peterborough and take on an exciting opportunity to oversee a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring exceptional management standards and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of a portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring compliance with regulations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, residents, and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage budgets, ensuring effective financial control, cost savings, and accurate reporting.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and refurbishments while ensuring minimal disruption to residents.
  • Deal with tenant queries, complaints, and concerns professionally and promptly.
  • Supervise and mentor junior team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of property legislation and ensure compliance across the portfolio.
  • Prepare service charge budgets and oversee the collection of payments.

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in block management, ideally with at least 3 years in a senior role.
  • Strong understanding of residential property management regulations and legislation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a busy and varied workload while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Financially astute with experience in budget management.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset.
  • TPI qualification is desirable, but not essential.
