Our client is looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the Buying team on a full-time permanent basis.The purpose of this role is to support the Buying Manager through management of smaller book ranges in retailers such as Lidl and HMV, management of children’s ranges in Morrisons, supporting on Out of Category promotions, plus any other ad hoc duties required to keep the category running in any of our retailers.You will be working collaboratively with key suppliers, retailers and internal stakeholders to help support the buying team deliver sales and growth for the category in a fast-paced environment.Although the role is split between the office and WFH there will be occasional travel required to Publishers/Retailers. This role is a great entry into Buying and does not come with line management. Essential Skills
