Our Manufacturing client based in Peterborough is looking to recruit a Buyer on a fulltime permanent basis. As a buyer you will be working as part of a buying team but you will be looking to source raw materials for the manufacturing arm of the business and work with other departments to ensure products and new products are supplied accordingly.
Buyer Requirements:-
Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders and suppliers to manage existing orders and new introductions from concept through execution.
Establish a critical path with both suppliers & external customers to ensure an efficient and professional workflow.
Attend customer meetings as needed.
Manage supplier contracts/negotiate new ones or source products from new suppliers.
Maintain control over order values
In a nutshell this is a busy Buying role, to be considered for this role you will have a proven track record in buying including the setting up of new contracts. The company offer a salary between £35,000 to £45,000 DOE.
