We are working with a manufacturing company based in Peterborough who are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join their team on an initial 6 month fixed-term contract.
The role is initially a contract role to cover a busy period of time, however has the potential to become a permanent role for the right candidate as the team are continuing to grow.
Typical duties would include:
- Communicating with 3rd party companies to ensure orders are placed accurately.
- Create SAP dispatch documentation for the warehouse
- Supporting the supply chain team with order processing requirements
- Managing export documentation processes
- Ad hoc administrative requirements within the Supply Chain team.
The successful candidate:
- Previous experience working within a similar supply chain or transport role.
- All round knowledge of the supply chain and manufacturing industry
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent IT skills, previous experience using SAP would be beneficial.
It would be beneficial but isnt essential if the successful candidate had a background within the food manufacturing industry.
