Overview:
We are working with a top tier client who are looking for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial and cost management of projects from start to finish. You will work closely with delivery teams to control costs, maximize value, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates, including risk analysis and budget updates.

  • Ensure lessons learned from actual costs are shared with estimators.

  • Support in preparing and managing subcontracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms.

  • Work with procurement and project teams to develop and monitor procurement strategies.

  • Assist with site visits to support teams, track budgets, and ensure cost efficiency.

  • Support change control processes and escalate issues when necessary.

What You Need:

  • Degree, HNC, or HND in Engineering or a related field.

  • Experience in the water industry or a similar sector.

  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and resolve conflicts.
