You’ll be part of a forward-thinking team, managing JCT, Design & Build (D&B), and NEC contracts, ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality projects.
Responsibilities:
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in project success. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Cost Management: Accurately forecast, monitor, and control project budgets.
- Tendering and Procurement: Prepare tender documents and manage the procurement of subcontractors and suppliers.
- Valuations: Conduct regular valuations, including progress claims and final accounts.
- Contract Administration: Manage contracts under JCT, D&B, and NEC forms, ensuring compliance and resolving disputes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate financial and contractual risks.
- Variation Management: Assess, value, and negotiate variations to ensure profitability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to maintain strong relationships.
- Site Visits: Conduct site visits to ensure cost and quality alignment with project goals.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed cost reports and present updates to the project team and stakeholders.
- Value Engineering: Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
