We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading construction firm for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Peterborough. The successful candidate will have proven experience in commercial and risk management, ideally within a senior role at a main contractor or developer.

Key Requirements:
- HNC or equivalent in Surveying/Construction
- Experience in residential housing development
- Strong IT, analytical, and communication skills
- Solid experience in budget management and negotiation
- Experience with COINs is preferred
- Attention to detail and ability to work within a team
- MCIOB or RICS membership (preferred)
- Familiarity with timber frame and other construction methods
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive profitability and cash flow on contracts
- Manage contract and subcontract documentation
- Agree valuations and variations with clients
- Oversee subcontract accounts from inception to final account
- Implement procurement strategy in line with company procedures
