We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead our cocktail bar in Peterborough City Centre. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of bar operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving business success through effective management and innovative strategies.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the cocktail bar, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning.

- Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to deliver outstanding customer service and maintain a positive work environment.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and customer satisfaction.

- Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control to meet financial targets.

- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.

- Create and update the cocktail menu, incorporating current trends and customer preferences.

- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional manner.

- Coordinate promotional events and marketing initiatives to attract and retain customers.

- Monitor inventory levels, manage ordering, and oversee stock control.

- Recruit, train, and evaluate staff performance, providing opportunities for development and growth.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Manager in the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.

- Experience with till and booking systems.

- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team.

- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.

- In-depth knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and mixology.

- Financial acumen and experience with budgeting and cost management.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

- Relevant qualifications in hospitality management or a related field are advantageous.
