A client of ours who are based in Peterborough have an exciting opportunity for a Controls Engineer to join their growing team on a permanent basis.
My client is looking for someone with the following skill set:
- Good character that is keen to learn, keen to take ownership and achieve results, PLC and SCADA strength (ideally Rockwell or Siemens) , and understands the effort and flexibility needed in having to be on site when the projects are being installed and commissioned.
- Desire to be the client facing lead on projects (still very much on the tools) and taking on responsibility of all facets of the job (software, electrical, time planning, financial, completion, etc.) from start to site acceptance.
- Prefer somehow experienced within the food processing industry. However as long as they have some product transformation experience, the industry can be learned pretty easily.
