Brook Street are proud to be representing an innovative and solution solving company who are looking to grow their business. We are on the hunt for an experienced Business Development Manager who will seamlessly identify and pursue new business opportunities and expand their market presence.

This role involves market research, lead generation, customer engagement and strategic planning to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.

Due to the nature of the product and business, having some technical knowledge or coming from an engineering background would be desirable!

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5:30pm, Hybrid working offered

Salary: up to £35,000 depending on experience (OTE £45k+)

Key Responsibilities:

Market Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new market opportunities.
  • Analyse industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.

Lead Generation and Prospecting:

  • Generate new sales opportunities by utilising various methods at their disposal.

Customer Engagement:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our power supply units to potential customers.
  • Understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions to meet their needs.
  • Visit customers as necessary to secure the business

Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align efforts and share market insights.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and contracts.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop effective promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with other members of the team.
  • Provide regular updates and reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and market feedback to senior management.

Performance Monitoring:

  • Track and analyse sales performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies.
  • Adjust sales tactics and approaches based on performance data and market feedback.
