We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher with experience and a passion for teaching children with SEND. We would welcome applications from teachers who have worked with autistic pupils in a primary, secondary or special setting.

Our partner is a specialist all-through school in Peterborough, who cater to pupils with EHCP's in place predominantly for Autism, SEMH, Mild and Complex Learning Disabilities.

The school is on a rapid improvement journey and the new leadership team are working hard to ensure students receive the best education possible, so this is a great time to be joining where you can play a vital role in school improvement.

The successful applicant will have a firm but nurturing approach, a relentless focus on pupil progress and high expectations of pupil learning and behaviour. They will also have a creative and innovative approach to engaging pupils and overcoming barriers to learning. Training in approaches to teaching the wide range of pupils on roll will be provided for the successful applicant e.g. physical intervention, autism.

Your application should demonstrate your experience, commitment, knowledge and passion for working with children with SEND and Autism, along with a willingness and enthusiasm to contribute further to the wider life and ethos of the school. The successful applicant must be committed to their own professional development and be willing to engage in training opportunities and will be required to teach the whole 4-16 age range.
