We are looking to appoint an experienced teacher of GCSE Maths to start as soon as possible.

As a specialist provision, class sizes are less than half of the size of mainstream classes (maximum of 10 pupils per class) and so, if you’re looking to teach small groups of pupils, this could be for you!

Based at an alternative education provision, which caters to the needs of pupils with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs - this is a real opportunity to improve outcomes for young people in Cambridgeshire.

Whilst initially you will be employed by Reed, the school are keen to appoint a teacher seeking either a long-term temporary or permanent role.

The successful teacher will have:

  • Experience of teaching GCSE Mathematics
  • An understanding of complex social, emotional, and mental health issues
  • A proven track record of strong behaviour management and rapport building
  • A passion for making a positive difference to disadvantaged students
  • Strong commitment, resilience and a calm approach to behaviour management
