About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate English Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Peterborough. This temporary position offers the opportunity to work 4 to 5 days per week, engaging with students and contributing to their academic growth. The role includes planning, marking, and fulfilling other teaching responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to secondary school students.
  • Plan and prepare lesson materials in line with the curriculum.
  • Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school’s educational objectives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in teaching English at the secondary education level.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
