About the Role:

As a Teacher of Design Technology, you will be responsible for teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5. This role involves delivering dynamic and engaging lessons that inspire students and foster a passion for design and technology. You will have the chance to make a significant impact on students' learning experiences and help them develop essential skills for their future careers.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Develop and implement innovative lesson plans that engage and challenge students.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the Design Technology curriculum and resources.
  • Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities related to Design Technology.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Design Technology or a related subject.
  • Proven experience teaching Design Technology at Key Stages 3 to 5.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and examination requirements.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating students in Design Technology.
