Service & Small Works - Fire Alarm Engineer
Location: Peterborough
Salary: 36K + Car + OT + Full Package
Leading independent fire alarm specialist are seeking a new service, maintenance, and small works engineer, located within the Cambridgeshire region. The client work with a wide range of conventional and addressable fire alarm systems.
A minimum of 3+ years relevant experience is ideally required, which will hopefully include a solid technical understanding of many of the commonly used industry fire alarm panels, any specialist experience with Advanced panels would be an advantage.
The role will be including fault finding, test and repair of malfunctioning systems, as well as routine maintenance visits and occasional small works installations, upgrades, extensions, and replacements.
System programming and commissioning experience would also be seen as advantageous, but not essential. Any experience with security systems such as intruder alarms, CCTV, Access control, Door Entry or even extinguisher systems would also be a bonus, however training can be provided on any unfamiliar systems.
