As the successful Field Service Engineer, you will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on specialised medical equipment. This includes disassembly, part replacement, repairs, rewiring, and reassembly of capital equipment. You will troubleshoot, calibrate, and certify equipment for use, following schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on specialised medical equipment, including troubleshooting and calibration.
  • Complete service reports and manage tools/parts inventory.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, managers, and the sales team.
  • Adhere to health and safety protocols and maintain professionalism on-site.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience.
  • Qualified in mechanical, electrical, or electronic engineering.
  • Strong troubleshooting and equipment repair skills.
  • Valid drivers licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
