We are currently recruiting a dynamic and experienced Registered Service Manager to join a reputable care provider rated Good in all standards by CQC . This role is pivotal in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services that meet regulatory standards.

Role Summary: As a Registered Service Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing a dedicated team to ensure the delivery of person-centred services to adults with learning disabilities and challenging behaviours. You will oversee the implementation and maintenance of care plans, manage staff performance, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the service to meet Regulatory Commissioners and Company Standards.
  • Maintain high-quality service delivery as per Assessments and Support Plans.
  • Ensure detailed, outcome-focused Support Plans for all Service Users.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews, providing comprehensive reports.
  • Supervise and audit staff performance in accordance with company policies.
  • Oversee CQC inspections and Local Authority contracts monitoring.
  • Conduct comprehensive investigations into HR and safeguarding matters.
  • Ensure person-centred support and regular review of service delivery.
  • Maintain high standards of personal health and hygiene for Service Users.
  • Provide Line Management support and ensure staff development and training.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels and staff competency.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Implement company Policies and Procedures and maintain quality assurance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior position supporting adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour.
  • Ability to lead a team and promote person-centred support.
  • Experience in writing outcome-based Support Plans and conducting staff supervisions and performance reviews.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise with various professionals.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Must be flexible, able to work at short notice, and participate in an On-Call rota.
  • Level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care or working towards it.
  • Must be able to drive and confirm the right to work in the UK.
  • Subject to a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure & Barring Service.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Registered Manager.
  • Experienxce supporting people with learning disabilities and associated health needs.
  • Ability to communicate using Makaton.
