A leading name in water industry training and qualifications is looking for an experienced Trainer to deliver high-quality programmes in Wastewater Treatment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a recognised organisation that partners closely with water companies across the UK, providing expert training solutions.
Purpose of the Role
We are seeking an individual with a strong wastewater industry background and occupational experience in wastewater treatment. You'll be an excellent communicator with the ability to engage and inspire learners. While a background in training and assessment is ideal, full training will be provided if required.
This role requires someone who is professional and customer-focused, capable of producing and delivering effective learning materials to a diverse range of people, including apprentices. You'll be based from home but should be prepared to travel to meet client and learner needs.

Responsibilities
As a Trainer, you will:
·Deliver high-quality training programmes to a wide range of customers and learners.
·Develop and build effective training packages to meet specific learning objectives and outcomes.
·Continuously monitor and update training materials to ensure currency and relevance.
·Assess learners both in training centres and in the workplace.
·Contribute to the standardisation of qualifications and best practices across training programmes.
·Liaise with customers to develop and maintain strong relationships, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and programme success.

Key Areas of Responsibility
·Deliver learning packages that meet measured standards.
·Build quality learning materials to meet specified objectives.
·Monitor and maintain the quality and relevance of delivery products.
·Implement best practices in training, assessment, and standardisation.
·Observe learners both in centre and in the workplace, evaluating progress against learning outcomes.
·Contribute to the assessment team, ensuring qualifications are delivered to the highest standards.
·Liaise with Internal Quality Assurers to maintain training excellence.
·Aim to achieve an individual utilisation target of 80%.

·Strong expertise in quality assurance.
·Proven coaching and facilitation skills.
·Highly organised with effective communication abilities.
·Ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
·Skilled in designing, developing, and delivering training materials.
·Confident in assessment and evaluation techniques.
·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
·Proficiency in email, PowerPoint, and Word.
Required Experience and Qualifications
·Relevant water industry qualifications.
·Proficiency in Maths and English.
·Full, clean driving licence.
·Understanding and application of health and safety regulations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications
·Assessor Qualification (D32/D33, A1, TAQA) or a willingness to work towards one.
·Level 3 Training and Education or equivalent, or working towards it.
·Experience in training material design and delivery.
·Experience delivering qualifications and apprenticeship programmes.
