We are delighted to be working with an exceptional company who specialise in the design and manufacture of bespoke mechanical systems.They are currently looking to recruit a Service Engineer to carry out installations and maintenance of their equipment at sites across the UK.Initially focused on UK coverage, but as the team expands, the responsibility will transition to a territory-based approach.Role Description:Installation and maintenance of customised bespoke lifting equipment.Handling breakdowns, repairs, and preventive maintenance tasks.Conducting LOLER testing.Collaborate with a team to install specialised lifting equipment like goods lifts and scissor tables.Perform efficient diagnosis and repair of goods lifts, scissor tables, and mobile lifting equipment.Identify preventive maintenance requirements and execute them effectively for both customers and the company.Availability for overtime when necessary to meet business needs.Standard working hours are typically 8 am to 5 pm, Monday to Friday.Willingness to travel during weekdays, averaging approximately 2-3 weeks per month, from Monday to Friday.Experienced required:Proficiency in hydraulic and mechanical systems.Knowledge of electrical systems, including 3-phase connections, customer supply, and 24V controls.Strong customer communication skills.Possession of a CSCS card.Licenses for operating FLT (Forklift Truck) and MEWP (Mobile Elevating Work Platform).Experience with LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations).You will receive:Competitive SalaryFlexible working hoursCompany uniform and overalls.Company van.Company-provided mobile phone and laptop.Training opportunities to address any skill gaps.23 days annual leave + BHParticipation in a 5% employee and 3% company contribution pension scheme.
