As a Community Support Worker at the Group, you will help deliver excellent Support Services which are both individualised and customer-led, promoting the wellbeing and support for their service users.
Further key responsibilities are listed below:

Updating and maintaining records, as well as reporting and documenting any issues.

Ensure that individuals are supported in understanding and managing their licenses, maximizing their income, paying their rent and utilities, reporting repairs, and using available facilities.

Maintain and respect all peoples’ choices, privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and independence, treating them as individuals.

In order to be successful in application for their Community Support Worker role, you will ideally have worked in a similar role supporting individuals, although they’re open to candidates who’re interested in pursuing a new career within a Supported Housing environment. Having some knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the issues around it would be beneficial. You’ll be comfortable in challenging negative beliefs and provide positive behaviour support, and always demonstrate a supportive and caring nature. It’s crucial to display good communication and listening skills, with a strong ability to provide advice to help their customers.
Their Community Support Worker role is based at their Peterborough Service. They are seeking an applicant to work 37 hours per week on a rolling rota, Monday through to Sunday between 08.00-22.00.
