Position: Health and Social Care Teacher

Location: Peterborough

I C Talentare currently seeking a Health and Social care teacher to work in one of our clients Academiesin Peterboroughas soon as possible.

The Academy isbased in Peterborough, located on a large campus with excellent facilities for teaching, learning and development.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons on health and social care topics.
  • Develop and update course materials to ensure they are current and relevant.
  • Assess and evaluate student performance through assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
  • Provide individualized support and mentorship to students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments in health and social care to inform teaching practices.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and professional development activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Health and Social Care, Nursing, Public Health, or a related field (Masters preferred).
  • Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE) or willingness to work towards one.
  • Relevant professional experience in the health and social care sector.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying current with industry trends.
