About the Role:

Our client, a highly regarded provider in the social care sector, is looking for a Team Leader to join their team. This role is crucial in supporting vulnerable individuals to achieve independence and reach their potential. As a Team Leader, youll lead a team dedicated to providing person-centered care, empowering service users to achieve their life goals.

Your Responsibilities as a Team Leader:

As a Team Leader, youll supervise and motivate support staff, ensuring exceptional care. Youll play a key role in promoting independence, choice, and inclusion for service users. This role is primarily Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, with no long shifts required, allowing for a balanced work schedule. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing daily shifts, medication administration, and community-based activities
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures
  • Supporting service users involvement within the community and development of their abilities
  • Leading, supervising, and mentoring a team of support workers
  • Providing hands-on support if required

What Youll Bring to the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced supervisor with the following skills and qualifications:

  • Experience in rota management and shift planning
  • Ability to support individuals with emotional, social, and physical needs
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience conducting formal staff supervisions and performance management
  • Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Full UK driving licence is a must
  • Previous supervisory experience in social care
  • Strong relationship-building skills with stakeholders
  • Diligent, enthusiastic, and committed to high-quality care

This position requires an enhanced DBS check.
