Safeguarding Lead Practitioner - Peterborough


Peterborough County Council are looking to expand their current team with a dedicated Safeguarding Lead Practitioner looking for an opportunity to join a well-structured and organised team. As well as joining a supportive team structure our client also offers opportunities for learning and development and flexible ways of working. This Safeguarding Lead Practitioner role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstance and your performance.

Safeguarding Lead Practitioner responsibilities include:

  • Working within MASH
  • Taking new safeguarding referrals
  • Gathering information to determine safeguarding/risk mitigation.
  • Consideration of all duties under S42

Experience preferred:

  • Previous experience working as a Safeguarding Lead Practitioner
  • HCPC Registration
  • 2 years post qualifying experience within UK Social Care industry
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Good communication skills, able to negotiate and resilience are essential.
