Our Young Peoples Safeguarding Team may just have the role for you!
Do you have sound understanding of safeguarding risks outside the home and experience working with 12-18 years olds.
Are you experienced at working with risk of homelessness or care, children vulnerable to exploitation and those who have experienced trauma which has impacted on their physical and emotional wellbeing.
Is your safeguarding knowledge spot on and do you understand young peoples brain development and vulnerabilities.
Do you believe each young person is different with their own story, experiences and that each can achieve their full potential.
Oh, and not to forget are you able to move at pace calmly and reflectively.
Are you nodding your head in agreement? Is your brain saying tick, tick, tick?

Our team is part of an integrated service which means we are closely aligned with the Youth Justice Service and exploitation service. Our social workers work alongside a variety of people including police officers, health workers, psychologists, education workers, substance misuse workers.
(A lot of people, we know. This just means our jobs never get boring!)
Our evidence-based approach is restorative and creates a shared language and culture, where we focus on building relationships which support good outcomes for young people.
We are fortunate to have extensive support from senior management and managers who truly want to see their team members progress and succeed.
You will be joining a team full of energy, curiosity and a whole lot of experience! We need you to come on board and share your knowledge and skills with us and collectively we will continue our journey to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable young people within our local community!
