Are you passionate about education and creating a safe, nurturing learning environment where students can flourish?

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be key in ensuring an inclusive learning environment for students with learning difficulties. You will work one to one with a student, and provide a differentiated way of learning to support with their academic development.

***Monday - Friday (8:30 - 3:30 term time only)

Tradewind are currently working with a lovely Primary School located in Peterborough who are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This school strive to build the confidence of students and support them in achieving their full potential. Proving a welcoming and inclusive environment, senior leadership at this school provide fantastic wellbeing opportunities to ensure all staff feel supported throughout the school year.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide tailored support individual students
  • Work together with teachers to create engaging activities
  • Support an inclusive and diverse classroom environment
  • Help with behaviour management following school policies
  • Create relevant resources for students

**Qualifications and Skills**

  • Previous experience supporting children with SEN
  • Genuine passion for working with SEN Children and seeing them achieve
  • Communicate effectively with teachers and other staff members
  • Be able to adapt and be flexible
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Familiarity with safeguarding and child protection policies
