We are looking for a Qualified English Teacher to join our partnered esteemed Special Educational Needs (SEN) School in Peterborough on a full-time, permanent basis. The role is term-time only, offering you a great work-life balance.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality English lessons to students at KS3 and above, adapting to their individual needs and abilities.
  • Providing basic skills support in other subjects as needed.
  • Maintain attendance records and comply with policies.
  • Uphold school policies and provide pastoral support.
  • Ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures.
  • Managing the classroom effectively to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Motivating and inspiring students to reach their full potential.
  • Maintaining strong communication with staff, students, and parents to ensure progress and well-being.
  • Organising lessons efficiently and effectively, with excellent time-management skills.

Requirements :

  • Experience teaching English at KS3 and above, with the ability to deliver basic skills in other subjects.
  • Strong subject knowledge, classroom management, and ability to motivate students of all abilities.
  • Effective communication, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Willing to submit an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant qualification/experience.
