Role Overview:
Our client, a prestigious independent school in Peterborough, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher. This role involves working with students aged 9-19 who have autism and other learning difficulties. The position is term-time only, covering 38.5 weeks per year.

Key Responsibilities:
- Individualised Instruction: Develop and deliver personalised lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student with autism and other learning difficulties.
- Supportive Learning Environment: Foster an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and success.
- Assessment and Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and adapt teaching methods to meet their evolving needs.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, support staff, and parents to develop and implement effective educational strategies.
- Professional Development: Stay informed about the latest teaching methods and SEN best practices, participating in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential requirement for the role.
- SEN Experience: Previous experience working with children with autism and other learning difficulties is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong communication, empathy, and organizational skills.
