Automotive Progress Chaser

£26,500 – permanent

Our client, a car dealership business based in Peterborough, is looking for a Progress Chaser to join its team.  This is a unique role which will use your excellent, results-first customer service experience. 

Customer service is at the forefront of this business and core to the company values, and you will be able to demonstrate your excellence in service from the outset.  Think internally and externally, individually and as part of a wider team. 

You will be a key part of the Sales, Aftersales and Fleet Teams, where your responsibilities will include being a representative of the company to customers at all times, interacting consultatively and professionally with your colleagues in the wider business to ensure that vehicles are prepped and ready, being on top of agreed timeframes for vehicles to prepared and therefore delivering upon the expectations of the customer.  You will use your administration experience to manage all documentation and records, able to track progress and results. 

To be suitable for the role, you must:

  • Have a manual driving licence, which enables you to also drive an automatic car.  This is essential.   
  • Have great customer service experience – this could be from any type of background such as retail or hospitality, or a corporate background. 
  • Have great attention to detail and organisational skills in administrative tasks.
  • A passion for or interest in the automotive industry would be desirable, but not essential. 
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be desirable, but not essential.
