Shipping Co-Ordinator

Peterborough - Hybrid (Once trained: 50% On Site/50% WFH)

Initial 6 month contract - will be extended for the right person!

We are looking for a Shipping Co-Ordinator to join our client’s Global Supply Chain team in Peterborough and will be a key player in planning, arranging and processing shipments to our global customer base.

What will you do?

  • Arrange for shipments of products to be dispatched to customers based on available product
  • Working with carriers and customers to agree collection schedules
  • Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts
  • Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas

What are we looking for?

  • Excellent Customer service – solving customer problems internally and externally
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail – processes amounts of detailed information with good accuracy.
  • Being flexibility and able to adaptability - to new or changing assignments, processes, and people.
  • Experience in Import/Export documentation - arranging transportation of materials and goods to manufacturing facilities and customers.
