Job Advertisement: Maintenance Technician

Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician seeking a challenging and rewarding role in an industrial or manufacturing environment? We're looking for a skilled and proactive professional to join our team and provide exceptional maintenance support to our facility.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain equipment using a computerised maintenance system.
  • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and perform necessary repairs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve malfunctions on industrial machinery, assembly equipment, and building infrastructure.
  • Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled.
  • Manage replacement part orders and maintain stock levels.
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety policies and safe working practices.
  • Participate in training and further learning as required.


Requirements:

Candidates must demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

  • Proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Completion of a nationally recognised, accredited multi-year apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in Electrical and Mechanical Maintenance.
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Flexibility to work outside standard hours as needed.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed instructions and procedures.
  • Critical thinking skills to diagnose and resolve issues effectively.
  • Willingness to undergo ongoing training and work a multi-shift system.

Desired Skills:

  • Familiarity with PLC-based systems is an advantage.
