The position is for a Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester in Peterborough with a salary range of £30,000 to £45,000 basic.
The role requires candidates to have good all-round technical and mechanical experience, along with an NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent experience.
MOT experience is preferred, whether current or lapsed, and candidates should be able to work independently.

Working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6 pm, with additional Saturday shifts every fourth week or a different weekend schedule available.

Due to a recent workshop refurbishment and expanison, our client is looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to add to their existing workshop team. Running alongside an established and well-run Used Car Dealer based in Peterborough, our client is looking for an experienced candidate who is looking for a new long-term role where they can enjoy a positive workplace and a good work life balance. Candidate Requirements:

Good all round technical and mechanical experience
Wide range of brand experience
MOT experience either current or lapsed would be an advantage
Ability to work independently
NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification or equivalent time served
Willingness to turn their hand to anything within the workshop
Servicing Experience
Diagnostic experience preferred but not essential

There are 2 working patterns available;Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pmEvery fourth Saturday 08:30 to 16:00

Monday to Friday 8:30am to 6pm with one set day off in the week and every other weekend Saturday 08:30 to 17:30 & Sunday 08:30 to 16:00
