Compound Driver
Location: Peterborough
Shift: 2-3 days per week
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour PAYE
Contract: Part-time, Long-term, Ongoing work
We are looking for Compound Drivers to join our client’s team in Peterborough, working for one of the UK’s leading car remarketing and auction companies.
The Role:
- Safely move vehicles within a large compound.
- Manoeuvre and park vehicles in bays and workshops.
- Handle a variety of vehicles, from small cars to high-performance models.
- Drive manual, automatic, and semi-automatic transmissions.
- Inspect vehicles before moving and report any damage.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions (appropriate workwear required).
Requirements:
- Full UK driving licence (held for at least 2 years, max 6 points for minor offences).
- Minimum age 23 (for insurance purposes).
- Confident driving various makes and models.
- Previous driving experience is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team.
