Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Teacher or High-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT. Additionally, the role involves teaching PSHE and life skills to help young people prepare for their next steps.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver Functional Skills in English, Maths, and ICT.
- Teach PSHE and life skills to KS4 & 5 learners.
- Support students in achieving Level 1 qualifications.
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment.
- Assist students in developing the skills needed for further education, employment, or apprenticeships.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, or a High-Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Experience in delivering Functional Skills and PSHE.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to supporting young people who have fallen out of education.
