Barker Ross is currently recruiting for a Relief Van Driver and Warehouse Operative for our client based in Yaxley. This positions offers an immediate start and is temporary to permanent position.
Warehouse Operative and Relief Delivery Driver
Temp to perm
£12.50 per hour
Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 4:30 Friday 07:00 - 16:00
Job Purpose:
Be part of the Warehouse Team to receive, process and dispatch metal and plastics of varying shapes and sizes. Typical tasks to include: Goods In Inspection, Cutting of metal and wood, Deburring, Picking and Packing. Delivering to customers in the company van when needed. Additional duties as requested by the Warehouse Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
Making deliveries to clients when needed
Loading and Unloading Lorries
Picking daily orders
Packing customer orders
Using CNC to cut plastic, various metals and wood to specification client requests
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in Warehousing and Manufacturing environment
Metal experience with Aluminum, Titanium and Stainless steel in various commodities such as tubes, bars, sheets and coils
Clean UK Driving Licence
