Location: Peterborough, Huntingdon, Milton Keynes, Bedford and Northampton areas

37 Hours a week

You will support the Regional Supply Manager in leading the operations and maintenance activities across the region, ensuring the supply of safe, clean drinking water to our customers, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. This will be achieved through excellent Health, Safety and Wellbeing Management, Strong Operational leadership and the delivery of best in industry operations and maintenance to meet and outperform Anglian Water's strategic objectives, regulatory and legal obligations.

Your role will influence, challenge and implement strategy throughout Water Supply, the Water Business Stream and the business and translate that strategy into strategic delivery plans for managers to deliver.

Within this role you will work to uphold Water Business Stream 's strong reputation internally and Anglian Water's externally and support the delivery of our Love Every Drop goals, commitments and targets and will represent the company with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.

As well as leading with your technical knowledge and experience or understanding of Water Supply and operations you will be able to be a coach to members of the supply management teams to drive their continuous development and to achieve their full potential and career aspirations.

What does it take to be a Regional Supply Support manager?

You will need to be a highly experienced water supply expert with an in depth and broad understanding of water treatment processes, abstraction, production, environmental management, process engineering process optimisation, water transmission and storage.

  • An experienced people manager with a proven track record
  • Demonstrable experience in wider incident management/control or as company envoy
  • Degree or equivalent level in relevant scientific or engineering (Chem, Mech &/or Elect)
  • Expert understanding of process safety principle
