Team jobs have a great opportunity for Emissions Measurement Technician role based in Peterborough to start ASAP.

Working Hours: 37h a week

Monday to Thursday 08:00-16:00

Friday 08:00-15:30

No remote working. Fully on-site position

Pay Rate: 13.55-21.90 depending on experience

Job Description and Responsibilities:

The main responsibility of Emissions Technician is supporting the Emissions Measurement Services department.

It is essential to have the knowledge, base skills and experience such as able to:

-Installing, servicing, calibrating and maintaining emissions measurement equipment.

-Assisting engineers with technical investigations of current and future emissions measurement technologies in a lab environment.

-Working in a fast-paced, professional technical environment, independently and as part of a team.

We are looking for a candidates with various levels of experience, with rates reflecting their background. Specific knowledge of emissions is highly desired and with a background in instrumentation, electronic, aerospace, rail network are also welcome.

Essentials Skills and Experience:

-Knowledge of gaseous measurement and practical experience within instrumentation

-Able to work and start tasks independently

-Meeting deadlines and time keeping

-Electro-mechanical bias or relevant industry experience

-Working in an engine test cell environment and engineering technician role.

-Microsoft Office experience

Desirable:

-Knowledge and experience of Horiba MEXA Gaseous Analysers, Sierra, Cambustion Particulate Analysers and Partial flow systems, AVL Smoke/ MicroSpoot / Opacimeter instruments.
