Fabricator

TEXO Recruitment are delighted to be sourcing for an experienced Fabricator to join our external client, a specialist in the supply of bespoke equipment and personnel packages to the global energy sector.

Based In Peterhead, Aberdeenshire, this role is offering a full-time, permanent position with an immediate start.

The successful candidate will be required to provide fabrication support to meet the demand of our clients operational projects efficiently. The individual must have a contentious approach to safety, technical, industry and company standards.

Key Tasks:

• To achieve schedule demands on all operational projects.
• Effective and efficient work to ensure all project deadlines are achieved.
• Ensure the quality of all work and thereby compliance with all required regulatory bodies and standards as well as detailed client requirements.
• Provision of technical input and support for system design activities within projects
• To plan and prepare all paperwork to complete Fabrication and maintenance tasks
• To generate Lift Plans ensuring compliance with LOLER if required.
• The training of apprentices and trainees
• All types of fabrication and welding in accordance with company work instructions and drawings.
• Maintaining Traceability of Materials Serial /Cast / Part Numbers during manufacture and repair.
• Ensure work area is kept clean and tidy at all time

Requirements:

• Able to demonstrate competence in welding techniques together with certification to current and relevant welding codes
• Have completed a recognised apprenticeship - Able to demonstrate competence in reading and understanding manufacturing drawings (Essential)
• Proficiency in Mig/Flux Cored & MMA
• Solid understanding of fabrication techniques.
• Competence with hand and power tool
