Job Summary:
We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team at Dales Base. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient management of materials for both onshore and offshore operations. You will play a key part in receiving, checking, preparing, loading, shipping, and manifesting outbound cargo, as well as receiving and dispatching backload cargo. Maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction is paramount.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and check materials for both onshore and offshore operations.
- Prepare, load, and ship materials, including manifesting outbound cargo.
- Receive and distribute backload cargo efficiently.
- Assist with the annual inventory count of storage locations.
- Kit and stage materials as required.
- Perform additional ad-hoc duties as directed and in line with training.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar material handling role is essential.
- Experience handling dangerous goods by sea is advantageous but not required.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Adaptable with a positive approach to tasks.
