An Electrical Fitter is needed for a specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps, focusing on electrical fitting, maintenance, and testing of diesel pumps and engines.
Candidates should ideally hold an HNC in Electrical Engineering and possess 18th Edition wiring regulations, along with experience in fitting electrical components to engines and pumps.
The position requires a time-served apprenticeship and a full driving license, with the candidate expected to work in the company workshop and be within commuting distance of Peterlee.
The role offers a salary of £16.39 per hour, with a full-time schedule of 39 hours per week and additional overtime opportunities.
Benefits include 33 days of holiday, including public holidays, and a pension plan.

Electrical Fitter required for a well-established specialist supplier of hydraulic and Electric Submersible Pumps. The successful Candidate will be undertaking Electrical Fitting, Maintenance and Testing responsibilities on a range of Diesel Pumps and Diesel Engines.

Electrical Fitter Position Overview

Working on Electrical systems in the company workshop
Fault find, diagnosis and repair on a range of electrical equipment concerning Pumps, Valves and Engines
Service and maintenance work on 3 phase power systems
Disassembly and refitting of electrical components
Fitting and testing of electrical components

Electrical Fitter Position Requirements

Ideally qualified to HNC level in Electrical Engineering
18th Edition wiring regulations
Experience fitting a range of Electrical components to Engines, Pumps and / or Plant equipment
Time served apprenticeship would be advantageous
Full driving licence
Based within a commutable distance of Peterlee

Electrical Fitter Position Remuneration

£16.39 per hour
Full time, 39-hour week
Monday to Thursday 8:00 - 16:30 Friday 8:00 - 15:30
Overtime Available
33 Days holiday including public holidays
Pension
